Questions before you book
What is included in my move?
Two movers and a truck, plus moving blankets, tape, stretch wrap and basic furniture disassembly and reassembly.
How is the price calculated?
Local moves are priced on time. Online estimates start at $299 for a 2-hour move under 50 miles, and a 2-bedroom is usually 3 hours or $449. A service charge applies to all moves and is confirmed in your written estimate, and the final bill follows the actual time. The drive to your first address is not billed.
Do you have weight or size minimums?
No. You never pay for weight you do not have or truck space you do not use, so a single item or a studio is priced like a single item or a studio.
Do you move just one item?
Yes. Single items are one of our most common jobs: a sofa, a mattress, an appliance, or a piece you bought from a store or an online marketplace.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Hercules Local Movers is licensed and insured, FL Mover Registration #IM150012, and we provide the Certificate of Insurance most condo and office buildings ask for.
How do I pay?
You can book online with a $50 deposit, which is credited toward your final balance. Rescheduling is free, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your move. On move day you make a base payment when the crew arrives and settle the balance before unloading.
How soon can you move me?
We are open 7 days, 6:30 AM to 10 PM. You can reserve a date and arrival window online in about a minute; short-notice moves depend on crew availability and your building’s rules.
